My journey throughout the top 20 teacher's blogs

Today I visited some fabulous teacher’s blogs, all of them were good but the one that called my attention the most was the one carried by Mrs. Mimi called “It’s not all flowers and sausages” (this is the URL if you may want to visit it: http://itsnotallflowersandsausages.blogspot.com/) The name of this blog may not say too much about it content. The purpose of this blog is giving advice to teacher about every day’s issues in the classroom in a funny way. I loved this blog because you can notice how passionate the creator is in teaching. Some of the post’s topics are: The challenges teaching kids, reading, professionalism, classroom management, technology and vacations. I fell so excited to see my blog as good as it’s not all flowers and sausages”

SUMMARY

There is no doubt that blog home become an influential medium in all walk of life from politic to personal passions. Today we are begging to create and share our thoughts and live online as natural parts of our daily lives.

Millions of  photos, thousands of audio files, and countless other creations are now being added every day to the  incredibly vast store house of information  that the web has become as more people get more access to broadband  connections and more powerful computer and even easier tools, this trend to shows every  sign of continuing to grow.

Web technologies are creating a tectonic shift in the world, no simple because of what they allow us to publish but because what happen after we publish.
The read and write web holds transformational changes in store for teacher and students of all stripe, we will not be immune to these shift, but as is often case, education has been slow to adapt to these new tools and potentials.

Society authorship where every teacher and every student, every person with access will have the ability to contribute ideas and experiences to the larger body of knowledge that is the internet.
Today`s students, of almost any age, are for ahead of their teachers in computer literacy.
While there is no doubt my classes were in many ways profoundly changed by blog, wikis, and the like, the bigger truth is that the transformation in my own personal learning practice is what informed my work with the students .

Before you try to bring technology to classrooms, first master it. Use it to learn about everything you are passionate about. The web has completely changed our lives. It is our obligation as teachers to teach our student what is acceptable in the web and what is not.
What is a weblog?
